“New Aspect” has a significant imprint in the Taiwanese society. These two words directly convey the impressions of “performances and artistic activities.” Even more, over 30 years, New Aspect has also constituted a history of rich and pluralistic social values and humanities.

These years of New Aspect was an aggregate of multitudinous events. Since 1978, New Aspect has under taken over 10,000 presentations. Over 20,000 artists from 101 countries and 200 myriad races have made their appearances to more than 10 million audience viewers at 135 different venues in 88 cities/counties in Taiwan. New Aspect has now held over 100 world premier performances, and countless numbers of Taiwan’s premiers in music. As the result, not only have these events enriched the interactions among different cultures, but also contributed in exposing Asian artists and enhancing the Chinese traditions to the world.

Throughout  these events over the past years, New Aspect has played a significant  role in influencing the overall artistic environment, people’s perceptions,  the standard of living, and even governmental regulations. New Aspect was the first of its kind.
